AI in the Science Workforce

It was a pleasure to speak on the use of AI in the science workforce for the Science Council this week.

We kicked off the day at the Royal Society of Chemistry with Helen Pain MBE CSci CChem FRSC and Catherine Ross
In my session, we asked how are the science leaders around you approaching artificial intelligence? Excitement, anxiety, urgency, patience? How do you nurture understanding without providing space to explore and experiment?

Getting this right is crucial, as workforce AI anxiety is also likely to be a determining factor in AI adoption effectiveness.
